Company Overview
Traffic Barricade (Pty) Ltd was officially launched in 2013 after being formulated ahead of the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
Traffic Barricade is currently 100% black-owned by its founders, who are also its directors. The company structure incorporates a 30% shareholding by black women, is BEE compliant and is a contributor in accordance with economic empowerment requirements in the country.
Traffic Barricade is committed to the spirit of empowerment, and will continue to focus on improving every element of its B-BBEE scorecard and contributing to socio-economic development, playing a major role in the creation of job opportunities within the country.

Management Team
Traffic Barricade management team, Traffic Manager/s and Traffic Safety Officers (TSO’s) have all been well trained. Some members of the Traffic Barricade team are registered with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) and have also completed various health and safety courses including but not limited to:
- SARF Engineering For Road Safety Course.
- SARF Traffic Safety Officer Training Programme
- SARF Roadworks Traffic Management Training Programme.
- SARF Traffic Safety Auditing on Roadworks Zones Course.
- SAMTRAC (Safety, Health and Environment Management Training Course).
